A Wesley Chapel man has died, following a single-car crash on Curley Rd.
According to the Florida High Patrol (FHP), Anderson Arias, 20, of Wesley Chapel, was driving his 2005 Honda Accord south on Curley Rd. around 3 a.m. on October 5.
The report says that Arias was approaching Keifer Rd., where there is a slight left curve and that Arias’ right tires hit the western grass shoulder, after which Arias overcorrected. Arias’ overcorrection caused his Accord to spin counter clockwise, before traveling southeast across Curley Rd. and colliding with a tree on the eastern shoulder.
Arias died of his injuries at the scene. FHP reports that a seatbelt was worn and that it is not yet known if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
