Itโs been a while since Iโve seen my friend and hysterical, Tampa-based standup comic Aniria Wilson perform live. In fact, the last time I saw Aniria on stage, she hadnโt yet married her new husband Joe Turney. My dear friend (and former Tampa Palms resident) Susan Saiger, Aniriaโs writing partner and fellow rising standup star who got a legitimate ordained ministerโs license online, flew in from her Los Angeles home to marry the couple a month or two ago (photo).
Suzi may not be on hand when Aniria and two other funny joke tellers do two shows on Friday, August 7, at 7 p.m. & 10:30 p.m., at Stage Left Bar & Kitchen (located at 24400 S.R. 54 in Lutz, about two miles west of the new Tampa Premium Outlets mall), but I surely will be.
Also on the bill (for just a $10 per person cover charge) are funny guys John Murray and JB Ball, both of whom Iโve seen before, too. Whether you want to attend the early or late show, act fast.
