The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for two armed robberies in and around the Wesley Chapel area.
PCSO reports that it is on the lookout for two suspects who robbed the CVS Pharmacy at the corner of S.R. 56 and Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd. in Wesley Chapel this morning. PCSO says that around 6:20 a.m. on September 23, one suspect entered the store wearing a ski mask, approached the clerk with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
At around 7:50 a.m., a similar robbery took place at the Mobil gas station located about a half-mile west of Wesley Chapel Blvd. PCSO says that the suspect entered wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun, demanded money from the clerk and fled, but this time in a blue, two-door vehicle.
PCSO reports that the same suspects could also have been involved in an attempted robbery of the Taco Bell on S.R. 54, located just west of the Collier Pkwy. intersection. Deputies say that an armed man walked up to the drive-thru window and pointed a gun at an employee, but didn’t demand anything.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO at (727) 847-8102 or 1-800-706-2488. Anonymous tips can be left by visiting PascoSheriff.com and clicking on the ‘Submit Tip’ tab on the homepage.
