Although marijuana, medical or otherwise, is still illegal throughout the U.S. (according to federal law), as many as 25 of our 50 U.S. states either already have passed or are working on passing state laws allowing the purchase and use of medical marijuana — without possibility of prosecution — and there are now two states (Colorado and Washington state) that even allow (and tax) recreational marijuana use.Continue reading

I don’t see how I could be more proud than I am today as I’m writing this, the day after my company won its first-ever award — and we still don’t even know who nominated us for it. On September 18, at Saddlebrook Resort & Spa Tampa, the New Tampa & Wesley Chapel Neighborhood News took home one of five coveted awards given out during the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC)’s “Celebrating Excellence in Business” awards banquet, sponsored by Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel.
