D’Alessio’s & OTB CafĂ© To Open Across From FHWC

By Gary Nager and Matt Wiley,

Two new restaurants are poised to fill the voids in the Shoppes of Wesley Chapel shopping plaza, which is located directly across BBD from Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel (FHWC) and already is home to Dickey’s BBQ, The Hungry Greek & the Latin Twist CafĂ©.

Moving into the space vacated by Baja Fresh is D’Alessio’s Restaurante, which will be a casual fine dining Italian restaurant and gourmet pizzeria. Owner Dom D’Alessio says his brother owns Francesco’s Pizzeria in Dade City, which has been very successful, “but this will be a little more upscale, with fine wines, beer and a unique Italian menu.”

Dom says D’Alessio’s should open sometime in November.

In addition, according to a flier posted on the window, Only The Best (O.T.B.) Delights CafĂ© will be moving into the space vacated by The Brewhouse coffee shop and Buddy’s Hot Dogs“We will be up early to provide you, our guest, a savory breakfast to start your day,” the flier reads. “We are working hard to open soon and can’t wait to see you!”

The flier says that the restaurant will focus on using local ingredients that don’t include unnatural nitrates, antibiotics or hormones and try to use as little processed food as possible.

A shy four-year-old sits on his mother’s lap refusing to join the other kids because the martial arts class is simply too intimidating for the young boy. But, after some encouragement from his instructor, he is suddenly participating with the others. Within five minutes, he’s hooked.

Today, Land O’Lakes resident Ethan Dillon, 13, studies a plethora of martial arts fighting styles. He has achieved high ranks in several different disciplines, including two second-degree black belts in karate and mixed martial arts, as well as a first-degree black belt in Krav Maga, the official self-defense training of the Israeli Defense Forces.

New Tampa Chiropractic’s 2nd Grand Opening

By Gary Nager,

Congratulations go out to my friend and fellow Rotarian Dr. William Scheu and his amazing staff at the New Tampa Chiropractic & Injury Center (photo below), who celebrated the Grand Opening of the office’s new location in the Cypress Ridge Professional Park just off S.R. 56 in Wesley Chapel on October 3. The crowded (at least 40 or so people) Open House event featured delicious food by Ghada Jadallah of A Dash of Salt & Pepper (on Cross Creek Blvd.), as well as a Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting.

The new office, which is much larger and has more private treatment, rehab and massage therapy rooms than New Tampa Chiro’s now-closed old office (which was next to the Super Target on Bruce B. Downs Blvd., or BBD), is elegant, comfortable and definitely a lot more functional.

“My staff, my family and I are definitely all happier here,” Dr. Scheu said during the event. “Our patients are having no problem finding us and we’re not missing out on much walk-in traffic because there never really was very much of it at our old location.”

For more info about New Tampa Chiropractic & Injury Center (2312 Crestover Lane, Suite 102, Wesley Chapel) — including info about the Licensed Therapeutic Massage, weight loss, core strengthening and of course, chiropractic and injury rehab services & more, call 994-6111 or visit ConfortiChiropractic.com.
