Parrish Mistakenly Arrested For July Hunterโ€™s Green Burglary

Itโ€™s a classic case of mistaken identity and of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In our last issue, we reported that John Michael Parrish, 30, was arrested as the suspect in a July 25 Hunterโ€™s Green burglary. However, although our information came from an initial Tampa Police Department (TPD) report, new information shows that all was not as it initially seemed in the case and the actual suspects since have been arrested.ย Continue reading

Primary Election Results Are In For State, Local Candidates

In Hillsborough County, republican Comm. Victor Crist (far left) will take on democrat Elizabeth Belcher (2nd from left) for the Dist. 4 county commissioner seat. In Pasco, republican Mike Moore (2nd from left) will take on democrat Erika Remsberg for the Dist. 2 commissioner seat in the November General Election.
In the November General Election, Comm. Victor Crist (R-New Tampa, far left) will take on Elizabeth Belcher (D-Seffner, 2nd from left) for the District 4 county commissioner seat, while Mike Moore (R-Wesley Chapel, 2nd from left) will take on Erika Remsberg (D-Land O’Lakes) for the Dist. 2 commissioner seat, whichย represents Wesley Chapel.
