Starting fresh with new coach John Gant, the Wiregrass Ranch High (WRH) Bulls girls basketball team is off to a good start of the 2011-12 season. The Lady Bulls opened the season on November 9, with a 57-38 win over Sunlake High and followed that up the next night with a 66-35 trouncing of Seminole High. The wins came during a two-day preseason Tip Off âClassicâ held at WRH.Continue reading

Ask any parent with a son and a daughter and they will likely tell you that itâs difficult to get their kids to stop fighting. New Tampa residents Christopher and Viviana Cao are no exception. However, their kids â Christopher, 14, and Viviana, 11 â are not exactly fighting in the way you might think, like, say, over the remote control. Instead, they practice sparring, breaking boards and perfecting their moves in Tae Kwon Do (TKD), the Korean martial art form.Continue reading
