If you love freshly prepared Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, you may already be part of the crowds of people who have been visiting the new Little Greek Restaurant, located in the New Tampa Center plaza, at 19022 Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd. at the corner of Cross Creek/New Tampa Blvd.
Owner Percy Rosemyurgy and his friendly staff, who celebrated Little Greek’s Grand Opening July 30 with a Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) ribbon cutting (photo), have been handling the big lines at lunch time with little more than a 5-10 minute wait — and the food is definitely worth waiting for! This small, local chain of now 14 restaurants (10 in the Tampa Bay area) features the usual Greek salads, gyro and souvlaki sandwiches and platters, but also has more upscale options like grilled salmon and steak on a pita.
