Doughertys Sentenced To 35 Years In GA

The convictions continue to pile up for the “Dougherty Gang.”

On December 17, nearly 18 months after the three Pasco County siblings were taken into custody in Colorado following a cross-country crime spree, the Associated Press (AP) reports that each has received 35-year, 8-month sentences from federal judge Hugh Lawson for robbing a Certus Bank in Valdosta, GA, on August 2, 2011. The trio began their run just east of Wesley Chapel, on S.R. 54 in Zephyrhills, and was not taken into custody until August 10 in Colorado.Continue reading

WC Bank Burglarized During Dec. 24 Spree

It’s the season of giving, but one pink-gloved man thinks otherwise.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), between the hours of 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on December 24, an unidentified black male (photo), wearing pink gloves, a white, hooded sweatshirt and a dark colored mask smashed a window at the Heritage Bank on S.R. 54. PCSO reports that the burglar pried open a cabinet once inside, but no money was taken.Continue reading
