The convictions continue to pile up for the “Dougherty Gang.”

On December 17, nearly 18 months after the three Pasco County siblings were taken into custody in Colorado following a cross-country crime spree, the Associated Press (AP) reports that each has received 35-year, 8-month sentences from federal judge Hugh Lawson for robbing a Certus Bank in Valdosta, GA, on August 2, 2011. The trio began their run just east of Wesley Chapel, on S.R. 54 in Zephyrhills, and was not taken into custody until August 10 in Colorado.

According to the AP, during the sentencing hearing, the siblings apologized to the bank’s employees. While no one was actually injured during the robbery, surveillance videos showed Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 27, firing an assault rifle inside the bank and Lee Grace Dougherty, 30, firing a pistol, before the trio made off with more than $5,000.

In addition to the most recent sentence, Ryan Dougherty, 22, received 18 years, Lee Grace received 24 years and Dylan received 32 for their crimes committed in Colorado. The trio still faces charges in Pasco County for shooting at Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies during their crime spree’s first high-speed chase. —å MW
