In the one year since the most recognizable real estate team in New Tampa joined Keller Williams and moved its offices a few miles north to a new professional center in Seven Oaks off Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd., Team Bohannon has grown to a staff of 21 people. Led by Broker associates Doug and Annette Bohannon and their son Dale, a Realtor, the team continues to help home sellers and buyers in New Tampa, Wesley Chapel and the surrounding areas.
A fixture in our community since they moved from Carrollwood to New Tampa in 1994, the Bohannons have perfected a series of systems to ensure that no detail is overlooked in the process of selling or buying a home, Annette says, and that every home the team markets is therefore provided with the industryâs best possible tools and practices for success.
Doug and Annette actually have been working together for almost 30 years. Dale joined the team about 12 years ago, and the Bohannonsâ daughter Laura recently began working as Dougâs assistant. Doug and Annette spent nearly 20 years at the Coldwell Banker office in the New Tampa Center shopping plaza, but they are now affiliated with Keller Williams.

âFifteen years ago, our kids were young,â says Greg. âNow, with both our kids out of the house, we found a new home that fits us really well.â
He explains why he and his wife continue to hire Annette, Doug and Dale when they have real estate needs.
âThey really put forth the effort and take as much time as necessary,â Greg says. âThey are willing to show a home on short notice and will do lots of research, if you want it, to (get the latest info about) all of the New Tampa neighborhoods.â

Annette says that people such as Mohsin and Greg are the reason the Bohannons enjoy their work so much. She explains that, typically, when someone comes to them to sell a home, itâs because something significant in their life is changing. She says, âWe love the area, love the people and have touched a lot of lives by helping people who have a need â more than 4,700 families â during our career.â
She explains that the local market is healthy. âWeâre seeing so much growth in Wesley Chapel, especially in Seven Oaks, (the new) Estancia (neighborhood in Wiregrass) and in Watergrass,â she says. âWe sell many homes in New Tampa, but the growth right now is in Wesley Chapel.â
âIn fact,â she laughs, as a stack of freshly printed, colorful brochures is brought into her office, âwe often sell homes before we can even get the brochures made.â She shows off an oversized pamphlet advertising Mohsinâs home, which had been sent to the printer just that morning. The house had already received an offer.
âWe love what we do, we do it well, and we enjoy helping people,â Annette says. âThatâs how we know weâll be around for many more years to come.â
