Spotlight on Sea of Smiles Pediatric Dentistry
Sea of Smiles, the pediatric dental office of Dr. Lisa LaPrestsi, DMD (located at 3737 Maryweather Lane, off Bruce B. Downs Blvd.) is proud to be serving the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. Dr. LaPrestsi held a Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) ribbon cutting ceremony on June 3 to welcome the local community to this outstanding new dental office.
Sea of Smiles provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a “child-friendly” environment. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. LaPresti focuses on preventive care to help each child have a healthy smile to last a lifetime.
Dr. LaPresti was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated in 1998 from West Virginia University in Morgantown, with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 and pursued her pediatric dental residency training in Cleveland, OH. She spent two years training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, which is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University (also in Cleveland).
Dr. LaPresti says she is a die- hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan! During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
Dr. LaPrestsi also has another office which serves infants, children and teens in the Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area.
