The New Tampa Chamber of Commerce was honored to host Hillsborough County Commissioner Victor Crist at its montly luncheon in June. Speaking on “Innovation Destination: A new economic district for north east Hillsborough County” (see the story on page 10 for more info), Crist detailed plans to revive local neighborhoods, including the creation of an economic development district between the east-west boundaries of Interstates 275 and 75 and from Sligh Ave. running north to New Tampa.Continue reading
