Introducing The New Tampa Chamber Board Of Directors & Staff!

New Tampa Chamber president Regina Ramalheira wants to introduce the New Tampa community to the people who donate their time and energy to help make the Chamber an important contributor to life in our area. To that end, we are going to run a short bio of the Chamber’s seven current Board members — and of executive assistant Jayne Baker — one or two at at time in each upcoming issue of the Chamber newsletter that appears in each issue of New Tampa Neighborhood News. In addition, all eight profiles will be posted on the Chamber’s website — NewTampaChamber.org — by the time this issue reaches your mailbox. We don’t have room for all nine bios in this space, but rest assured, all eight will run over the new two or three issues.

Please visit NewTampaChamber.org or call the Chamber’s executive assistant Jayne Baker at 293-2464 or 2012-13 president Regina Ramalheira at 245-8893 for more information about the Chamber.

Regina Ramalheira,

Chamber President

Regina Ramalheira became a resident of New Tampa in 1981. At the time she was the District Sales Manager of the popular The Limited stores.

In 1996, Regina became an active Board member of the New Tampa Community Council and she soon became the “Volunteer Coordinator” for the annual “Taste of New Tampa.” For more than a decade, she has managed approximately 350 local youths and thier families to do all of the behind-the-scenes tasks to make the Taste a success.

Regina remained on the Board when the Community Council evolved into the New Tampa Chamber in ‘09. Her full time career is now as a Broker Associate & Realtor at ReMax First In Real Estate (17010 Palm Pointe Dr. in Tampa Palms). Regina has been married to Richard Crate for 23 years and has one grandchild, Jacob Crate. With her years of living, working and serving New Tampa, Regina knows New Tampa and would love to get to know you — and any real estate needs you may have, too.
