Domestic violence charges against well-known local developer J.D. Porter have been dropped.
The Pasco County State Attorneyâs Office dropped the case against Porter, 33, the driving force behind the development of Wiregrass Ranch, on August 1 after his girlfriend â and sister-in-law of Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco â Maridy Gregory, 30, decided that she did not want to press charges. The new information was not released until August 17.
