Anyone interested in living a healthier lifestyle should visit the Wesley Chapel Health & Fitness Fair & 5K walk on February 23.

The Rotary Club of New Tampa Evening has combined forces with the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce to sponsor this inaugural event, which will begin at 10 a.m., with the 5K Walk (to be held at both Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel {FHWC} and the Shops at Wiregrass mall), and will benefit the American Diabetes Foundation. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Best Team Theme and Most Unique. Local companies are encouraged to show their colors in support of a good cause and walk with their employees and their families. The walk will start and end in front of Macy’s and you can sign up at GetFitFair.com.

The Chamber, sponsor of the yearly Health & Wellness Festival, has teamed up with Rotary’s Get Fit Fair to showcase the benefits of health and fitness, in conjunction with both FHWC and Florida Medical Clinics.

The event is expected to draw more than 5,000 attendees and 120 exhibitors from Wesley Chapel and the surrounding area.

Starting at 12 noon, the main exhibition area will be open inside the Shops of Wiregrass, along with entertainment, demonstrations and performances (including by Zumba at Centro at Center Stage). Admission is free and open to the public. FHWC will provide free tours of the hospital’s new Wellness Plaza, along with free monthly programs to help you get into the best shape of your life.

In conjunction with the event, the Rotary Club of New Tampa Evening Foundation is sponsoring a raffle to win a new 2014 Mustang from Parks Ford in Wesley Chapel, a $26,000 value. The winner has their choice of color or may apply the prize to any vehicle of their
