Nearly nine years after the crime, a conviction has been made in the double murder of two Wesley Chapel High (WCH) students, who were killed during a drug deal in Trilby in 2006.

According to the Sixth Judicial Court, Luc Pierre-Charles, 27, was re-convicted by a jury on two counts of first-degree murder for shooting teens Derek Pieper and Raymond Veluz multiple times in the back of their heads, after ordering them at gunpoint to their knees during a drug deal in Trilby, published reports state.

Pierre-Charles was convicted in 2009 for the same crimes, but a retrial was ordered, after the 2nd District Court of Appeals ruled that evidence was allowed into the court that should not have been admissible. Pierre-Charles will be sentenced on May 13.
