I wanted to thank local family, implant and cosmetic dentist Dr. Nicole Mitchell, DMD, for inviting me and the entire New Tampa & Wesley Chapel Neighborhood News crew to join her and her crew on Nov. 7 at The Palms Lounge at Peabody’s to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Dr. Mitchell’s dental office in Highwoods Preserve in New Tampa.
The party itself was awesome. The Palms is a spacious, but still cozy, locale for any type of private event, from birthday parties to Jets Club gatherings to comedy nights to dental office anniversary celebrations. And, with Peabody’s owner Bryan Peabody on hand, Dr. Mitchell (3rd from left in photo) and her associates — Kristen, Laura & Michelle — treated about 30 or 40 guests to two different types of Peabody’s awesome wings and true NY-style pizza, plus Cuban sandwiches, crudité, fruit and cheese platters and more, including an awesome video of the office’s first-year highlights that was shared with the attendees.
Considering that Kristen and Laura used to work with the Neighborhood News’ own Ashley Knoblach and Nikki Bennett at Peabody’s, and the fact that our office is right next door — oh, and the additional fact Dr. Mitchell and her crew all give the Neighborhood News so much credit for her success in her first year — helped make the celebration a must-attend event for us.
Congrats, Doc. And thanks for including all of us in such a great party.
