The WCCC is still in its busy season, which means there’s still plenty of opportunity for you to get involved and network with one of the most dynamic “small” Chambers of Commerce in the Tampa Bay area.
Among the events scheduled before our next New Tampa issue reaches your mailbox are ribbon cuttings at Florida Aesthetics & Medical Weight Loss (14945 BBD, south of Tampa Palms) on Tuesday, April 28, 4 p.m.; and at the New Tampa Family YMCA (16221 Compton Dr., Tampa Palms) on Thursday, April 30, 4:30 p.m., to dedicate the Y’s new outdoor conditioning area (see story on page 46 of this issue).
There’s also “Final Friday” free networking events on Friday, April 24, 4 p.m., at Mulligan’s Irish Pub at the Pebble Creek Golf Club; and on Friday, May 29, 4 p.m., at Glory Days Grill (17508 Doña Michelle Dr. at BBD).
The Chamber also will host its third annual golf tournament on Friday, May 15, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m., at the beautiful Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club (12900 Lake Jovita Blvd., off S.R. 52, Dade City). The cost to play is $125 per person ($500 per foursome) and sponsorship opportunities were still available at our press time.
