The months of April and May are among the busiest for local schools, but students, educators and PTA members aren’t alone. This also is one of the busiest Ribbon Cutting seasons each year, and the WCCC certainly is keeping things so busy, we haven’t been able to get to every such event…but we keep trying.

Since our last issue came out, the WCCC has cut ribbons at the spectacular new Parks Fiat (28736 S.R. 54, 907-7800), on Apr. 19, the new Chase Bank branch (at 1747 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., 991-6517) on Apr. 22, at the Grand Re-Opening of Haverty’s Furniture (26450 Golden Maple Lp., 994-0541) on Apr. 25 and at the new Wesley Chapel Florist (2653 BBD, Suite 103, next to Dickey’s BBQ, 907-8980) on May 1 (photo).

And, the pace isn’t really slowing down over the next four weeks either, as the Chamber will cut more ribbons at the new Happy Cow Frozen Yogurt (which was already open for business at our press time at 1646 BBD, 531-5421) as you receive this issue on Friday, May 10, 10:30 a.m.; at the new Brock Law office (2145 Cypress Ridge Blvd. at S.R. 56, in the same building as Synovus Bank, 333-7267) on Wednesday, May 15, 5:30 p.m.; at a multi-Chamber event at Oasis, A Pregnancy Care Center (located at 5854 Argerian Dr., off S.R. 54, Suite 101, 406-4965) on Thursday, May 16, 5:30 p.m.; and at another multi-Chamber event at the Fifth Anniversary Celebration at Cooper Financial (5420 Land O’Lakes Blvd., or U.S. 41, 996-6100) on Tuesday, May 21, 6 p.m., as well as the aforementioned Ker’s WingHouse Grand Opening on May 30. Whew!
