The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) has located a missing hearing-impaired man from Wesley Chapel.

PCSO had been seeking the public’s help in locating Olaniran Jegede, 32, who had left his home on Seabreeze Way in the Carlyle neighborhood of Northwood on February 28 in a black 2013 Buick MKZ and did not return.

Family members had not had any contact with Legede since he had left that day and were concerned because Legede is completely deaf, PCSO reports, cannot read lips and only uses a cell phone to text.

The PCSO report states that Legede had returned home February 28 from a local hospital, where he had been treated for chest pains before he went missing.

Legede was safely located on March 1, after he made contact with his family, PCSO reports.

No further details were released.
