The former Macaroni Grill in New Tampa has sat vacant for more than a year, but that’s about to change as Señor T’s Mexican Restaurant moves in.
Señor T’s will take the place of the long-vacant Macaroni Grill, located in front of the former Sweetbay grocery off Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd. in New Tampa, says a restaurant spokesperson.
The new Mexican eatery will be the first link in a small, planned start-up chain of about seven locations. While the inside of the restaurant still is being renovated, Señor T’s plans to open on November 15. Once open, the restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating, full premium liquor bar and mid-priced Mexican fare.
