The nightly “Symphony In Lights” show at the Shops at Wiregrass mall continues to draw crowds of people each night who get to enjoy the holiday-themed light show shining through the snow flurries and the synchronized lighting of the Christmas tree to the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, as well as “ice” skating.

Although we may only have gotten a taste of winter with the recent cold front sweeping through the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel area, there is one place that feels like winter every night, even if happens to be 80 degrees out- side: the Shops at Wiregrass mall’s “Symphony In Lights.” Click through for a slideshow of what to expect!

Each night from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., weather permitting, until Tuesday, December 31, the Shops at Wiregrass — located at the intersection of Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd. and S.R. 56 in Wesley Chapel — is alive with the spirit of the season.

In addition to the nightly forecast of snow flurries in the mall’s Center Court, diners and shoppers also can take in the tunes of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, a band that recreates holiday classics with a tasteful, heavy metal twist. The music blares in sequence with more than 250,000 lights using 47 miles of wire.

The “Symphony” is truly a sight (and sound) that must be experienced first-hand…as is the mall’s awesome synthetic “ice” skating rink.
