The New Tampa Chamber of Commerce focuses on helping our member businesses thrive, giving residents a voice and pushing New Tampa in a clear direction for the future. Our success depends upon input from our members and from our community.

The Chamber is planning to hold a series of “Open Discussion” meetings in October 2011 to receive your constructive input and to help us understand your needs and priorities. Business members, area residents and anyone interested in joining the Chamber are welcome to attend to voice their concerns about business, commerce and life in the New Tampa area.

Stay tuned for more information on dates and locations of these public meetings! Updates will be posted on our website events page at NewTampaChamber.org.

Grand Openings &     Ribbon Cuttings

Family owned Oakley’s Grille, which replaced Quizno’s next to Dairy Queen on Bruce B. Downs Blvd., prepared a delicious buffet for Chamber members and guests at their Ribbon Cutting on August 4.

From gourmet burgers to hot pressed sandwiches and freshly made salads, Oakley’s is the perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner. Oakley’s already is a popular place with the locals, so be sure to stop by and say we sent you!

Ever wondered what to do when you dropped your cell phone and damaged it? No need to buy a new phone, take it to CPR-Cell Phone Repair! The store also sells used phones and can repair many water damaged phones, as well as X-boxes, PlayStations and Wiis. The New Tampa Chamber of Commerce welcomed CPR-Cell Phone Repair to 17501 Preserve Walk Lane, Suite 104, next to the soon-to-open location of Tijuana Flats, where they hosted their grand opening on July 9.

CPR also has a drop-off box for old cell phones and electrical equipment, such as laptops. The items are refurbished and donations support the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
