A man has died, following a Wesley Chapel crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), around 10:32 p.m. on March 21, Wesley Chapel resident Tyler Alan Jones, 28, was traveling northbound on Old Pasco Rd. approaching Dayflower Blvd. in his 2014 Toyota Tacoma. At the same time, Dean Alan Crislip, 50, also of Wesley Chapel, was heading south on Old Pasco Rd. on his 2000 Yamaha motorcycle, approaching Dayflower Blvd.
FHP reports that Jones began to turn left Dayflower Blvd. and crossed in front of Crislip. Jones’ Tacoma struck the right side of Crislip’s motorcycle.
Crislip was transported to Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel (located on Bruce B. Downs [BBD] Blvd.), but later died from his injuries.
Charges are pending in the crash.
