A Wesley Chapel man is missing and hasn’t been heard from since Sunday.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), Sean Golden, 39, has been missing since early Sunday morning. An Uber driver, Golden dropped off his last passenger at 4:08 a.m. on the 4200 block of Tampania Ave. in Tampa in his 2014 grey Toyota Camry with a tag bearing “S651JA.” Golden was last seen getting gas at the Flying J gas station, located at 11555 E. Sligh Ave. in Tampa.

“It doesn’t sound right that he’d be taking off without notifying anybody,” said Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco in a press conference on March 10.

Detectives said that Golden signed out of the Uber application and ended his shift after his final fare Sunday morning, but hasn’t been heard from since. PCSO has been in contact with Golden’s passengers from Sunday morning, who have been cooperative, detectives said. The passengers are not considered suspects.

Golden lives with his wife Corrine and two children. Corinne told detectives that Golden’s disappearance is extremely “uncharacteristic.”

PCSO, which is working closely with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Tampa Police Department, says that there is a possibility that Golden could have driven east on I-4.
