In case you haven’t heard, there are so many new things happening at the Shops of Wiregrass mall, it’s hard to keep up, but here’s some new news you may not have heard before:

Pagelli’s Italian Restaurant in the mall has closed and has been replaced by an exciting, new, non-chain Italian restaurant called Ciao Italian Bistro. Ciao, which has an ad on page 53 of this issue, is now open and promises “Amazing Italian food with a twist!”

For more info, visit CiaoItalianBistro.com or call 907-2200.

In addition, the former Cosi Café location in the Shops also will soon have an exciting, new eatery in its place, as Blue Lagoon Island Grill, which has an impressively eclectic menu, moves into the Cosi unit, hopefully not more than a week after this issue reaches your mailbox.

Visit BlueLagoonTampa.com and please fill out the info on Blue Lagoon’s “Contact Us” page and put “I read about you in the Wesley Chapel Neighborhood News!” in the space marked “Comments” on the site!),

Although it’s been one of the more successful ongoing events at the mall, we, for some reason, never have written anything about the twice-monthly Fresh Market at the Shops.

Well, after my most recent visit to this awesome array of everything from the coolest-looking striped eggplants to home-baked gourmet doggie treats and from fresh salsa and Italian tomato sauce to baked goods and freshly grown herbs, I just hope that you’ll visit one of the upcoming Fresh Markets at Wiregrass, which are being held on the following upcoming Saturdays — Nov. 3 & Nov. 17.

For more info about these and other upcoming events and specials at the mall, visit TheShopsatWiregrass.com.
