So, the good news is that weโre getting a couple of new Mexican places in Tampa Palms and the perhaps even better news is that Ciccioโs is coming back to the area (see page 50), but the fact is that if youโre the type who, like me, prefers unique mom-and-pop restaurants, you have to take a drive to try places outside of our distribution areas.

Although its original scheduled opening was delayed by a week or so during the remodeling of the former Buffaloโs SWโCafรฉ on S.R. 54 (at 5510 Post Oak Blvd.), Wesley Chapelโs Kerโs WingHouse opened on June 6 to an estimated crowd of between 500-1,000 people. Included among that throng were two dozen or more Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) members who cut a ribbon with Wesley Chapel general manager Eric Ratcliff of the new Kerโs Wing House and his staff of gorgeous servers and bartenders.Continue reading

Although we still couldnโt say for certain at our press time whether or not Ciccioโs Lodge was going to move into the former World of Beer location in the Shoppes at The Pointe in Tampa Palms (although both World of Beer and Coffee Beanery Cafรฉ did close since we made those announcements last issue), we do know what restaurant will replace Ciccioโs in the Publix-anchored City Plaza at Tampa Palms shopping center.Continue reading
