Noire Nail Bar Offers Luxury Nail, Eyelash & Waxing Services Near The Outlets

With its premier location on S.R. 56 across the street from Tampa Premium Outlets and its owners’ commitment to customer satisfaction, Noire Nail Bar has been a go-to destination for nails and skin care since it first opened in 2018.

Owners John and Vanessa Nguyen say the location, next to Mellow Mushroom, makes it the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon or evening of relaxation, pampering and enjoying all of the amenities nearby. John says there are several more restaurants that will soon open in the area, making the location even more attractive.

Noire Nail Bar offers manicures and pedicures, spa treatments, waxing and eyelash extensions.

“The most important thing to us is to have the best customer service,” John says. “We keep the salon clean, constantly update our nail polish collection with new colors and keep up with what’s trending in nail design.”

In fact, he says, any nail design you can find or think of, the technicians at Noire Nail Bar can create for you. Just check out the salon’s Instagram page at @noirenailbar_wesleychapel to see some of the many unique and intricate designs they have done for their clients.

Whether you’re looking for the trendiest nail shape and design, or a more traditional or professional look, the happy nail technicians at Noire Nail Bar are always willing to accommodate you.

John says many clients now prefer a fairly new service called Gel-X.

While gel polish goes over a person’s nails, Gel-X is an alternative to acrylics that extends the length of the nails.

“It’s a healthy product,” John explains. “When you wear it, you feel like it’s lighter for your nails and more comfortable. It doesn’t get heavy like acrylic nails.”

And, he says, its much healthier for your nails than other options, since it’s not likely to cause nail damage or skin irritations.

However, Gel-X is far from the only option at Noire. For those who prefer dipping powder, gel, or even acrylic, Noire Nail Bar offers all of those options.

In addition, Noire also now carries magnetic nail polish (photo above), which gives nails a fun, textured effect by using metallic particles that can be activated and moved into unique designs by using a magnet. You really have to see it to understand how magnetic polish works.

John says that Noire Nail Bar also is perfect for any special occasion, such as a wedding, prom, holiday party, or other event. Noire’s nail techs can create nails and designs that will stand out and give just the “vibe” you want.

If you’re coming in with friends or family, the salon is designed with pedicure chairs in small groups to facilitate better conversations, rather than your group being spread out in one long line. This provides privacy and intimacy for those who want to enjoy the experience together. The salon also can host all kinds of parties, from weddings to bridal showers to birthdays.

For children under 10 years old, the salon offers manicures, pedicures, nail polish and nail designs at special (reduced) prices.

Noire Nail Bar recommends appointments to ensure a leisurely experience, especially on busy weekends, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Men and women can take advantage of Noire Nail Bar’s packages that include Basic, Deluxe, or Signature spa treatments. For example, a “Sport Spa Pedicure” includes a callus treatment and sugar scrub to improve blood circulation, plus a massage to relieve muscle tension and tightness.

Noire’s “Citrus Spa Treatment” is energizing, while the “Cucumber Treatment” is purifying and revitalizing, and “Milk & Honey” is for anti-aging. An “All-Organic Pedicure” includes nothing but certified-organic products, and the “Luxury Six-Step Collagen Pedicure” provides the ultimate in detoxification and anti-aging treatments to rejuvenate and moisturize your feet. Hot stone and hot candle wax massages can be added to any pedicure, as well.

John also says that Noire guests are always treated to a relaxing experience in an upscale atmosphere. The salon is a quiet and calm place, where the technicians are focused on their customers, not on chatting with each other. The serene environment helps to enhance the experience of the spa treatments Noire Nail Bar provides. And, guests always are offered a complimentary glass of wine (for ages 21 & older, with proper ID), soda or water to enjoy during their treatments.

Beverlee Bench, who posted a five-star Google review after she got a manicure with nail art and sculpted nails at Noire, says, “Customer service from start to finish was impeccable. Definitely will be back!”

Noire Nail Bar now offers eyelash extensions, too, and also offers waxing of eyebrows, upper lip, legs, arms and Brazilian bikini waxing.

“I love this nail salon with a passion!,” Jessie Maher says in her five-star Google review. “The staff is always amazing, kind and patient when I bring the kids with me.”

She adds, “The reason I go back time and time again is because of the incredible service, as well as the sense of feeling welcomed, and knowing I will be taken care of and come out with flawless nails.”

Noire Nail Bar, Your Peaceful Nail Oasis, Has Added Eyelash Extensions

Co-owner John Nguyen is usually at the front desk when you visit Noire Nail Bar, across S.R. 56 from the Tampa Premium Outlets. (Photos by Charmaine George)

As soon as you walk into Noire Nail Bar of Wesley Chapel, your stresses will begin to melt away. Looking at the massive nail polish wall and the opulent, yet cozy, seating areas for manicures and separated pedicure “pods” just puts your mind at ease.

Noire Nail Bar first opened its doors in 2018 on the north side of S.R. 56, across from the Tampa Premium Outlets, next to Mellow Mushroom. Owned by John and Vanessa Nguyen, the salon now has 18 employees to perform manicures, pedicures and a number of spa treatments.

Entire families can enjoy their pedicures together separated from other Noire customers.

The salon offers several packages beyond the basic manicure and spa pedicure, including sports spa, citrus, milk & honey and organic spa treatments. There is even a luxury six-step collagen pedicure to rejuvenate and moisture your feet. Hot stone and hot candle wax massages can be added to any pedicure as well. Need some waxing done as well? The salon offers waxing of eyebrows, upper lip, legs, arms, Brazilian and just about everywhere else. And recently, Noire also added eyelash extensions.

All guests are given a complimentary glass of water, soda, or wine to enjoy. Technicians follow rigorous sanitization protocols, using buffers, files and paraffin wax only once before discarding them, to ensure a safe and clean experience.

Many men visit Noire Nail Bar for manicures and pedicures. Pedicures also include relaxing foot massages.

Noire Nail Bar is very family- and group-friendly. The salon offers special manicures, pedicures, nail polishing and nail designs for children under age 10. And yes, men are always welcome, too.

Also, the layout of the salon with the manicure and pedicure areas separated and the pedicure chairs in small groups that face each other adds privacy from other customers and makes it easy to enjoy with family and friends.

John, who first learned about this industry from his sister, who operated a different nail salon 10 years ago, has first-hand experience with doing nails and spa treatments, but now has stepped back to focus on running the salon.

Even so, he is very hands-on and will often answer the phone or greet customers walking into the salon himself.

“I used to do nails for customers myself, but now I am busy as a manager and running the business,” John says. “But, my experience helps me understand all the salon operations from beginning to end.”

John knows the business well, but is still hard-pressed to give you an answer when you ask him what the best and/or most popular services are at Noire.

“Everything we do is good,” he says. “When it comes to nails, we do all types — acrylic, gel, dip powder, ombrĂ© and nail designs. If you show us a picture of something you want, we can do it for you — weddings, proms, daily wear, or for any occasion.”

You can get this birthday cake nail design, or literally just about any design you can think of, at Noire.

Looking at pictures on the salon’s website and Instagram, it’s hard not to agree with him. You can find dozens of designs by Amy, Rachael, Helen, and the other salon technicians, including holiday- themed, dipping and chrome powder and even rhinestone-enhanced designs.

Customers share John’s sentiment that Noire’s technicians deliver picture-perfect work. “TL is wonderful!,” shares customer Cindy Baldwin. “She does a very nice, clean pedicure with a nice massage. Besides being very precise with your nail choice, if you want any art work, she is your girl! Any picture I have shown her she has duplicated to perfection! Another one of my choices in this salon is Vee — best pedicures ever!”

Kim Willis says she had a great first visit at Noire. “First visit for a fill at Noire with Amy,” she says. “Everything was perfect from start to finish! Amy not only did a beautiful job but did it quickly, so I didn’t have to spend half my Saturday morning at the nail salon. So happy I decided to come here! I will be back and I will be recommending Noire and Amy to everyone.”

Noire Nail Bar recommends appointments to ensure a leisurely experience, but walk-ins are always welcome. Noire Nail Bar Is Quiet, Serene & A Great Value!

Noire Nail Bar, located next to Mellow Mushroom on the north side of S.R. 56, west of I-75, is one of the most spacious and beautiful nail salons in our area.

Ana Mendez is a nail loyalist. Do her nails right, and she’ll be with you forever.

She had been going to the same salon since high school, even though she had moved and it was a haul. Then, one day in 2018, she walked into a new place that had just opened, Noire Nail Bar, located on S.R. 56 in the Cypress Creek Town Center (near Mellow Mushroom).

She was sold.

“I come in every two weeks,” Ana says, getting her nails done by the same technician, Amy, each time. “She is the only person I let touch my nails.”

What made a loyalist like Ana change shops? Well, other than the location in the heart of the S.R. 56 corridor, which she frequently visits due to the plethora of places to eat, shop and, well, get your nails done, she says Noire Nail Bar has everything she is looking for in a salon.

It’s quiet and serene with an upscale feel, offers a wide variety of services and delivers on what she requires the most — a set of killer nails.

That definitely makes John Nguyen, who owns Noire Nail Bar along with his wife Vanessa, smile.

“If they are happy, they will come back,” Nguyen says. “That’s what we try to do. That’s what separates us from other nail salons.”

Nguyen says the salon’s look and feel are intended to cultivate a calm atmosphere, which you can feel as soon as you step foot in the place. In other nail salons, you may notice the technicians chatting with each other while taking care of their clients. Nguyen says he prefers that they don’t talk amongst themselves, instead focusing their attention on the task, well, at hand.

“I want them to pay attention to the customer,” he says. “People come here to relax, because it’s very quiet.”

Nguyen says he employs 15 technicians or so, and on the weekends, they are all busy.

And, just because Covid is finally in many people’s rear-view mirrors doesn’t mean that the salon is no longer kept sparkling clean. Many of the sanitation procedures that were put in place during the pandemic are still adhered to, and while customers aren’t required to wear masks, the technicians still do.

Most of Noire’s staff is experienced. It’s one of the things that Nguyen values most in his employees, because they know what to expect and familiar faces are always nice for the salon’s returning customers. And, Nguyen says, a good many of his customers do return, like Ana.

“It’s a really nice place, and I like going to places with a great ambiance and this place does,” Ana says. “Sometimes, I even bring my laptop and can get some work done. There are no distractions at all.”

Although they’re not required, Noire encourages appointments to be sure you’re not turned away — especially on weekends.

Once you arrive, you’ll always be offered a complimentary glass of wine, or a soft drink or water with all services. Those services include a wide variety of manicures, pedicures, massages, full sets, dipping powder, nail enhancements, eyelash extensions and face and body waxing.

Noire Nail Bar has a separate area for pedicures, where chairs are grouped together, including facing each other, which is convenient for groups of friends or family, so you can enjoy conversations with each other as opposed to being spread out in a long line. This setup allows small groups to enjoy privacy and intimacy in their time together.

Pedicure stations are lined along the other side of the large salon, and also can accommodate small groups.

The range of different services includes everything from basic manicures and pedicures to the popular Noire Nail Bar Signature Spa Pedicure and Special Care Spa, and everything in between.

Nguyen says the Signature Spa Pedicure is the “ultimate” treat for your feet, with a therapeutic lavender rub that exfoliates dry skin while citrus sugar relieves and moisturizes your tired feet.

That is followed by an extensive moisturizing lotion massage and a hot towel wrap.

Noire’s Special Care Spa also is designed to cater to clients, with an Organic Spa Pedicure and even services for those with special needs, such as the elderly and those with diabetes who may have cracked heels, thick calluses, extra thick or ingrown toenails — anything that requires extra time, attention or precautions.

Prince and Princess manicures and pedicures also are available for kids ages 12 and under.

“We also use only the best products,” Nguyen says, “like O.P.I., DND and others.”

And, if you need a nail design you saw somewhere, or have thought of one yourself, the technicians can meet your desires.

Ultimately, it was one of the biggest reasons why Ana says she changed salons.

“I liked the other place, but if I showed them something new, they couldn’t achieve it,” she says, “and I’m very particular. So now I’m committed here, and I love it.”

Noire also offers all of its services for birthday parties, bridal showers and other events. Be sure to call ahead to reserve your time and services in a space just for you.

Noire Nail Bar Offers Peaceful Luxury & Safe Services

Walking into Noire Nail Bar, located just across S.R. 56 from Tampa Premium Outlets (near Mellow Mushroom), you immediately notice the quiet and relaxing ambiance and the lack of bustle. The serene, upscale décor (photo) is impressive.

John Nguyen, who owns Noire Nail Bar with his wife Vanessa, says the salon’s look and feel are intentional to cultivate a calm atmosphere.

“People come here to relax, because it’s very quiet,” John says. “Most salons are noisy and crowded, but Noire is peaceful and still.”

John and Vanessa opened Noire in 2018 and will celebrate three years in business later this year.

He says while Noire had to close temporarily during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic (as did every salon), when it re-opened in May, clients eagerly returned.

“They feel safe here,” he says. “We wear masks, wash our hands and keep our salon nice and clean.”

While cleanliness has always been a priority at Noire Nail Bar, John says the staff is now even more detailed and spends even more time on cleaning and making sure everything is completely sanitized for each client.

To serve clients safely, Noire asks that the following requirements are met: First, always wear a face cover, wash your hands when you arrive, and try to limit touching surfaces or objects as much as possible. They ask that all guests try to schedule their services during low-volume times, such as weekdays, whenever possible, and that you don’t bring any guests with you who are not receiving services. Finally,John says, please do not come in to Noire Nail Bar if you’re not feeling well.

“Especially with Covid, people want to avoid crowds,” John says. “If we get too busy, we ask people to come back at another time.”

Noire encourages appointments to be sure you’re not turned away.

Once you arrive, John says you will always be thrilled with the services you receive, which may include manicures, pedicures, massages, full sets, dipping powder, nail enhancements, eyelash extensions and waxing services for your face and body.

“We have a good team,” says John. “Our technicians make sure the customers are happy when they leave and they spend time taking care of them. We never rush.”

Lorraine Wiggins lives in Tampa Palms, where she says, “there’s a nail salon on every corner.”

But, she drives past all of them to get to Noire Nail Bar, often bringing her mom and/or her daughters along with her. “Noire has more space, and if we come in together, we can be in a little pod together,” Lorraine explains.

She’s referring to Noire Nail Bar’s separate area for pedicures, where chairs are grouped together. So, if you come in with friends or family, you can enjoy conversations with each other and you’re not spread out in a long line of salon chairs facing manicure stations.

This setup allows small groups privacy and intimacy in their time together.

“I loved finding this place,” Lorraine says. “It’s always so clean. I always get good service, and I love it aesthetically. It’s nice that there are separations between the pedicure chairs and the manicure stations.”

Lorraine owns a travel agency and says she has visited many spas all around the world.

“I recognize the level of luxury that’s offered here,” she says. “You can go to any strip mall and find a nail salon, but I come here because of the sense of calm and relaxation.”

She says that Noire’s prices also are comparable, especially because there are different levels of service to fit virtually every budget.

John explains that the range of different services includes everything from basic manicures and pedicures to Noire Nail Bar’s Signature Spa Pedicure and its unique Special Care Spa.

John says that the Signature Spa Pedicure is the “ultimate treat for your feet,” with a therapeutic lavender rub that exfoliates dry skin while citrus sugar relieves and moisturizes your tired feet. That is followed by an extensive moisturizing lotion massage and a hot towel wrap.
