If youâve been out driving on I-75 through the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel area, youâve probably noticed some rough, uneven patches of roadway and a bunch of orange construction signs still standing. For teens with cancer, the ages between 13-18 are a time of transition to adulthood, but during treatment, most hospitals donât have a place for them to hang out and just be teenagers. For that reason, Teen Cancer America (TCA) has partnered with legendary rock band The Whoâs âWho Caresâ charity (and with hospitals throughout the U.S.) to develop specialized facilities and services for teens and young adults with cancer.
