Overnight Closures For Northbound S.R. 56 Exit Ramp From I-275 This Week

The S.R. 56 exit from northbound I-275 will be closed tonight and tomorrow night (November 20) for construction.
The S.R. 56 exit from northbound I-275 will be closed  between 10:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. tonight (September 8) through Thursday night (September 10) for construction.

Beach House Senior Living Coming To S.R. 56

While the Legacy at Highwoods Preserve (off Highwoods Preserve Pkwy. in New Tampa) recently opened as the area’s first assisted living facility, it won’t be the only one in our area for long, as work will begin on a future assisted living facility on S.R. 56 in Wesley Chapel early next year.Continue reading

Comm. Mike Moore Pushes Ordinance To Clean Up Blight In County

While it was meant to show a business that was closed and overgrown, the car wash was closed when Pasco County widened S.R. 54, resulting in an eminent domain acquisition. As Pasco County continues to try to revamp its reputation and become an “elite” county, one County Commissioner from Wesley Chapel is proposing an ordinance to clean up run-down and abandoned businesses along Pasco’s busy north-south roadways and encourage business owners not to let their property begin to deteriorate.Continue reading
